Admission
Process:
You
should plan on bringing your child to the interview, as they will be a part of
the initial review process. You and your child will also have the opportunity
to tour the school. At this time, both Journeys and the family will make a
decision about moving forward with enrollment.
If
you do not already have a McKay Scholarship, we will assist you in getting
started with your McKay eligibility determination. Tuition amount is based on
the difference between any scholarship or grant money you have available and
the annual cost of tuition.
Once accepted, a contract
will be drawn up between your family (including the new student) and Journeys
Academy. To help you prepare, the steps below will act as a guide to what you
may need to acquire in advance of enrollment.All
candidates must take the following steps:
1. Provide
copies of the student's most recent transcripts and report card
2. Provide
a copy of the student's IEP (when applicable)
3. Provide
a legal copy of the student's birth certificate
4. Provide
copies of parent's or legal guardian's current driver's licenses
5. Provide
Immunization records showing all immunizations are up to date
6. Provide
copies of any Psycho-Educational Evaluations (when applicable)
7. Schedule
an appointment to meet and have the initial interview with our Business
